Taberna Dalmau, located in La Ràpita, began its journey in 2014, led by our chef and master, Ernesto. After an extensive career between his homeland, the Basque Country, and his wife’s in Huesca, Ernesto decided to settle in this privileged setting, known for the beauty of the bay and its local products. Together with his family, where his daughter also plays a key role in the day-to-day operations, they have made Taberna Dalmau a place where local products are the stars, always with a special touch from the Basque Country.

At Taberna Dalmau, we offer the finest products from our bay and the rice fields surrounding La Ràpita. Enjoy "canyuts", oysters, mussels, red prawns, Norway lobsters, octopus, and delicious fish stews, as well as fish dishes cooked in the Orio style or the classic Pil Pil. You can also savor a wide selection of meats and Delta products, such as duck-based dishes.

The chef, in addition to being the owner, is also the head of the kitchen at Taberna Dalmau. For him, it is an honor to be in charge of each dish and to share his passion for gastronomy with every one of his customers, always offering his best in each culinary creation.
