Mini Cultural Ulldecona with Cave Paintings and the Millenary Olive Trees of Arión
Combined Tour: Ulldecona Cave Paintings & Millenary Olive Trees of Arión
On the combined Cave Paintings + Millenary Olive Trees of Arión tour, we will travel back to the origins of Ulldecona, from its first hunters to the olive trees that have been growing in its fields for almost 2,000 years. A complete visit to two of its most emblematic treasures!
Visit to the Cave Paintings of the Abrics de l’Ermita – Immerse yourself in prehistoric art with one of the most exceptional collections of Levantine paintings, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These representations, dating back more than 7,000 years, depict hunting scenes and the daily life of the first inhabitants of the region.
During the guided tour of the millenary olive trees of Arión, you will discover the Fondo del Arión, the place with the highest concentration of millenary olive trees per hectare in the world. Here stands Farga I, a monumental olive tree over 1,700 years old. You will also have the chance to enjoy a tasting of the unique and millenary olive oils from the same estate. An experience that will awaken all your senses!
